REPRESENTATIVE CLIENTS
BBQ Grill Cleaning System

Many methods and/or devices for cleaning barbeque grills are known. The most common devices for cleaning barbeque grills are brushes and/or sponges, used in combination with a cleaning liquid and water. Although modestly effective, the grill cleaning process is generally an unpleasant experience, requiring the cleaner to hold the dirty grill while cleaning, which frequently results in the cleaner becoming sopping wet and covered in grit and grime.

The patent available for licensing describes a BBQ grill cleaning device that more effectively clean BBQ grills than current methods. The patented system utilizes a soaking tray and rotating scrubbing head that is turned by a handle. To maximize the cleaning effects, the handle is pressed downward increase contact between the brush and the grill surface. By containing the cleaning process within the covered device, the user is protected from the dirt, grease and grime being removed.

Oxygen Tank Mounting Device

People dependent on oxygen therapy, as well as a walker or wheelchair, often struggle with diminished mobility and freedom. The available patent describes an innovative, oxygen tank mounting device that provides greater independence for oxygen therapy users by eliminating the need to push a walker and pull an oxygen cart at the same time.

Designed originally for a three-wheeled walker, this versatile unit is easily adapted to fit a wide range of ambulation equipment, including wheelchairs and four-wheeled walkers.
The device employs a counterbalance to prevent tipping.

Tank-support rings hold virtually any size oxygen cylinder and allow the user to change out the tanks quickly and easily. Walkers equipped with the device also remain fully collapsible for storage and transportation. When necessary, oxygen therapy users can be away from their base unit for longer periods of time simply by taking extra oxygen cylinders. The patented design is simple and can be manufactured from inexpensive and readily available materials.

Licensees are sought to either manufacture the device as an add-on to the licensee's existing walker and/or wheelchair products or as a separate stand-alone kit.

My Sun Chair™

For years, the basic design of the outdoor lounge chair has remained virtually unchanged. Improvements have been made in materials and manufacturing processes, but little attention has been paid to the overall design. Consumers are shifting toward thinking of patios and yards as “outdoor rooms” and expect their outdoor furniture to match the quality and design of their indoor furniture. Consumers are willing to pay a higher price to get the design, colors and fabric choices they want.

Existing designs:

   •  may be too narrow, too short or too high/low from the ground

   •  are frequently uncomfortable due to support bars that are felt through the support fabric or straps

   •  don’t provide arm support when lying on stomach

   •  don’t have 6 locking positions for the chair back and 4 locking positions for the leg support portion

   •  don’t have arms that remain parallel to the ground regardless of the position of the chair back

   •  don’t have arms with cup holders that swing into position supporting the entire arm when reading

Through the development of patented improvements (United States Patent Nos. 7,703,854 and 7,832,804) each of these shortcomings is addressed in the first major improvement to lounge chair design in years - My Sun Chair™. My Sun Chair™ can be positioned as a new "cross-over" product appropriate for use at the beach or in the backyard.
